Carol Bacon, CFE, BSBM founded Forensic Investigation Specialties in 2004 after working as a forensic accounting technician for four years under a leading and local Forensic Accountant. During this time, she was part of a long but successful elder exploitation case that returned 24 million in donations to local charities.
In late 2004, she started Forensic Investigation Specialties and went on to achieve her certification in fraud examination, after completing her degree in Business Management Online while still fully employed and assisting on occasional case work.
She originally hails from the Bay Area, but has made the greater Puget Sound her home over the past ten plus years. Her past work experience covers over fifteen years in accounting with various industries and postions. This gives her a wealth of knowledge and a unique approach to each client's needs.
Her case work includes elder exploitation, asset research, employee theft, embezzlement, marital dissolutions, mortgage fraud, and contract disputes, medical and dental clinics, and real estate development, and non-profit embezzlement.
