We are a woman owned and located in the Greater Puget Sound of Washington state but travel to where our clients need us. We listen, assess, and report the facts, and only the facts.

Certified in Fraud Examination, we provide fraud examination and investigative or forensic accounting, including document management and preparation for litigation, mediation and expert witness.  And we strive to work in the most cost efficiently and effective way possible.

We apply discretion and integrity to all our work product, and use our intuitive nature to doggedly delve into the details of the situation.

We also believe that education about fraud and how to reduce fraud is key to prevention.

REMEMBER:  "A penny saved from fraud is a penny better spent elsewhere!" Call us if you need a speaker.

  • We are not like CSI...we don't have fancy electronic gadgets, so it won't be done in an hour or over night. After all it most likely took you a while to create the data, so it will take us some time to assess and analyze the data.
  • We suggest you engage us through an attorney - if you need a referral, let us know.
  • We are in the business to help people, but we need to pay our staff, so a retainer will be requested from you to start.
  • We work hard to save you unnecessary costs, so we will ask you to organize your data  the best you can before we meet. If you use software for business or personal - like QuickBooks - then we will need a backup copy so we won't recreate it at your expense.
  • Most basic assessments take between 10 and 20 hours, approximately 2-3 days.

In July 2009, the IRS announced a successful prosection of a tax-preparer in Florida for having a client make a false claim for the tax credit. They are warning that taxpayers to be wary if their tax preparer offers promising to get them a big refund.

"Fraud, by its very nature does not lend itself to being scientifically observed or measured in an accurate manner. One of the primary characteristics of fraud is that it is clandestine, or hidden; almost all fraud involves the attempted concealment of the crime."                       2008 ACFE Report to the Nation
